Night of Style with Zoora

Back to Boston! Last night I was lucky enough to attend to a "Night of Style with Zoora" at the Newbury Street, Bradley & Diegel Hair Salon. It was an amazing night, surround by my Boston Bloggers friends, Personal Hair Stylings, Dress Samples, Fashion Designers, and Zoora Website Sneak Peak. Zoora is a really cool and easy way to shopping online, you just need to create a profile and you will be "matched with a garment that fits your body and exactly what style, shape, price and occasion you are looking for". Take a look on Zoora Facebook Page for more information.

my dearest bloggers friends,  Lei AnnNajeema, me, Samy, and Cassie

My back to Boston Outfit (yes, I'm missing my week by the pool and floral dresses...) but I'm happy to wear this Vintage Velvet Dress and my Velvet Dr. Martens that perfect matched. And to complete "The Craft" vibe, nothing better than dark lips, right? Surprisely last night wasn't that cold, so a fur vest and over the knee socks were enough to keep me warm.

Free People Crafting Party

Two weeks ago I attended to The Free People Crafting Party in Cambridge. And I confess, I was kinda unsure about it, because I'm not a good crafter, or I thought so... I never had the patience to make friendship bracelets, jewelry or knit. But what a good surprise, it was just to look around and the inspiration came! So many beautiful materials! The feathers were the first thing to caught my attention, and I decided to create a braided hat band (and of course, I wore it immediately)
girls working on!

yummy appetizers and a wonderful store display (not mention the clothes!!!)

Party time!

My last two projects spotted by Julia, from Free People Blog, were: a pink feather necklace and a glittery cuff. It was so easy to make. I reused a part of my personal necklace and just attached about 7 small feathers lacing it with some glittery straps and a black thread. For the bracelet, I used a piece of double sided foam tape and covered it with the glittery straps.

Thinking different about Crafting Parties!

Boston Fashion Blogger Panel at Northeastern University

What a great experience. The blogger panel was a success! Besides my fear of speaking in public, everything went so well. The girls were amazing, and it was easy to relax and enjoy the conversation.
I really want to say a huge thanks to the girls from Haute Fashion Northeastern University, thank you Bianca and everybody involved! It was a pleasure to share my experiences and to have learned so much with my blogger friends. Please check out these lovely ladies' blogs.

Fall Outfit 2011 - Louis Boston Blogger Contest

I always said that my inspirations come "From Chanel to Goodwill" and today is definitively a "Chanel" day. Not literally, because I'm not wearing a single piece from Chanel, but the inspiration and atmosphere of this outfit is Classy.

I'm a part of a Fashion Blogger Challenge promoted by Louis Boston. Six styling bloggers picked their favorite outfit for Fall2011.

I was feeling like I was in style heaven.  And I couldn't resist this amazing fur sweater from Marni. Colored Fur with vertical and horizontal stripes, a mix between grunge and glamour. So comfortable, so elegant and perfect to wear everyday of the cold Fall in Boston.

 amazing leather pants!

I kept going with my marathon in a search of the perfect Fall look, and I stopped when I saw these leather trousers. Lovely coincidence, they are from the prestigious young Brazilian designer Pedro Lourenco, that     just launched his last Collection in Paris Fashion Week.

Last but not least, my favorite accessories for Fall. No one can deny that snake print is a must have for this season. So, I was more than happy to pick these amazing Proenza Schouler open-toe super high heels. Sexy! And to balance and give a classy accent to the look, nothing better than classic round sunglasses and this fabulous hat.

The Outfit contest runs until Sunday, November 6th.  Please help me win an opportunity to style a photoshoot for Louis Boston. You just need to "like" my picture here. Spread the love!

thank you!
